Vataha is a web application for running a sports club, academy or training group: one place for teams and athlete records, a training calendar, attendance, fee settlements and online payments from parents. It runs in a browser, there is nothing to install.
What Vataha gives a club
Teams, groups and player records
You run teams and training groups, add players together with the contact details of their parents and guardians, and assign coaches and staff. Everyone sees only what the club has given them access to.
Training calendar and attendance
You plan trainings, matches and away trips, including recurring sessions created from a single pattern. At the session you record attendance, and the club keeps the attendance history of every player.
Price list and player settlements
You set the price list rules once and the application calculates the amounts due on its own: with discounts, with a pro-rata charge for a player who joined mid-month, and with a running balance. You can see who has paid and who is in arrears.
Document deadlines and contact with parents
The application keeps track of the expiry dates of medical certificates and licences and reminds you before the deadline. Parents and players receive notifications about sessions, schedule changes and payments.
How to start
You create a club account, set up your first team and add athletes; everything else you configure as the need arises. You invite coaches, parents and athletes from the application by e-mail address, they do not have to set anything up themselves. You create the account on your own, with no sales call and without providing card details.
Create a club accountHow a payment from a parent or athlete to the club works
The club issues a payment link in the application for a specific amount, for example the fee for a given month or the charge for a single session. The parent receives the link in a message or finds it after logging in, next to their balance.
After opening the link, the payer sees the amount and what it covers, and then chooses a payment method at the payment service provider. Vataha neither collects nor stores card details or bank login credentials, they go directly to the provider.
Once the transaction is confirmed, the funds go to the club's account. The club is the recipient of the payment and has its own agreement with the payment service provider. The payment reduces the player's balance in the application, and the parent sees it in their payment history.
Using the application is free of charge for the club
The club pays nothing for access to the application: there is no subscription, no setup fee and no trial period after which payment becomes due. Should we introduce charges in the future, we will give at least 14 days' notice, and they will require the club's acceptance (§ 10 of the Terms of Service). The commission on online payments is charged by the payment service provider chosen by the club, according to that provider's own price list.
